Abstract
This study evaluates mid-term outcomes of transcatheter plug closure (AVP2) for LVOT pseudoaneurysms post-aortic valve surgery. Three patients (EuroScore 1.92-9.65) showed complete closure at 4.5-year follow-up, supporting its efficacy as a minimally invasive alternative.
Introduction
LVOT pseudoaneurysms require urgent intervention. Transcatheter closure offers a safe option for high-risk patients.
Case Study
Case 1 (74F, redo AVR):
Imaging: LVOT pseudoaneurysm (neck 8.5mm).
Intervention: AVP2 10mm via trans-arterial approach.
Follow-up: Aneurysm resolved at 4.5 years.
Conclusions
1.AVP2 is effective for wide-neck pseudoaneurysms.
2.Transcatheter approach reduces perioperative risks.
3.Lifelong anticoagulation is recommended.
